Zachary Binx and Maddie Mae enjoying the beach in Bandon,OR
Hello and Welcome!!
My name is Deborah Kerr-Jones, Deb to my friends and relatives. I am blesssed to live in the beautiful Sierra Foothills above Sacramento, CA with my husband, Bruce and our many rescued animals. We are also very lucky to have land on which we can keep and care for our cats (mostly feral that we trap, have fixed, and then work with), dogs (animal shelter rescues except for our new Aussie Kimo Bleu), chickens (they are rescues too!), birds and fish. I also work as a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner. I have a small art studio out back where I am able to do my eggshell art and oil painting. I really love making Chistmas Ornaments also.
After years of doing various art forms I have finally found one that allows me to mix my love of nature and God's creatures. I'm especially fond of the beautiful natural colors of the Emu egg and working with Native American themes that are so important to my family. The Emu egg's colors can vary from a beautiful emerald green to a turquoise-black and even grayish hue. I also work with Goose, Rhea, Ostrich and smaller eggs.
